During his distinguished career, most of which was spent in his native province of Quebec, Adrien Morin served as director of the St. Hyacinthe Farm-School, Live Stock Commissioner, Director of Agricultural Services and Deputy Minister of Agriculture. Upon retirement from the latter position, he joined the staff of the Canadian Meat Packers’ Council as Director of Field Services for eastern Canada.
Always a keen student of animal husbandry, Dr. Morin developed and promoted many policies designed to increase the production and improve the quality of Quebec livestock. During the Second World War, he served on the Canadian Bacon Board.
Being fluently bilingual, he used his many talents to promote better understanding between English and French-speaking Canadians.
