Dr. Alfred Savage

Dr. Alfred Savage, a native of Quebec, spent most of his active career in Manitoba. His contributions to veterinary science commanded national recognition.

Dr. Savage is best remembered for his teaching, writing and administrative skills, which proved to be of inestimable value to veterinarians and livestock producers alike.

He was awarded a Fellowship in the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in 1963, and was named Professor Emeritus of the Department of Animal Pathology at the University of Manitoba.
